Welcome to the world of paper straws! Where your straw lasts plenty of time to enjoy your beverage, but doesn't last for generations. These are certified compostable in composting conditions as well as certified to degrade in the marine environment. This paper straw is the sturdiest we have ever found. It will not fall apart in a drink - hot or cold. In other words, you will not see bits of paper floating in your drink. These straws can get soft depending on the temperature of the drink but they will not give up their job of getting liquid to your mouth. It's up to you - are you ok with the feel of paper versus plastic in your mouth? If so, this paper straw works the best. These short straws are roughly 6" long and the same diameter as our full length paper straw. These are great for using in cocktails because they can take the place of the plastic straw that typically go in cocktails. These are also good for kids' size cups and drinks because of the length.
