Remove that frustrating, damaged screw or bolt and get it back working How does it work? The tool's bit and extractor are cut in reverse (counter-clockwise) to grip the bolt or screw while turning it in the removal direction. What is the best way to use it? Set your drill in reverse! Let the tool do the work. Use the bit side of the tool (A) to ream a cavity in the top of the bolt or screw. Sometimes this step will back out a screw right away. Set your drill at the slowest speed and low torque settings, if possible. Make sure the cavity has good depth so the extractor gets a full bite. Then flip the tool around and use the extractor (B) to remove the bolt or screw by placing it in the newly created cavity. Patience here, you want the extractor to have traction and grip, not spin out! Slowly turn the drill while applying steady downward pressure, and the extractor will bite into the cavity and remove the broken item.Get it done today!
