About Salewa Women's Wildfire GTX Low Rise Hiking
The Wildfire GTX is a comfortable entry shoe with a versatile POMOCA Speed Mtn sole for grip, traction, safety and precision during technical climbs, Kraxeleien, cross sections and climbing. It has a climbing zone in the toe area and offers high edge stability. The POMOCA Butilic rubber compound ensures a secure grip on dry and damp rocks, the aggressive studs for improved traction on muddy, soft ground. We manufacture the shaft with a precise fit made from robust mesh material and reinforce it with a 3D exa shell structure for increased torsion rigidity. In combination with the 3F system, it wraps around the foot for flexibility, good fit and firm ankle and heel support. For wet weather, the Wildfire GTX is equipped with a waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex® Extended Comfort lining. The climbing lacing particularly wraps around the forefoot and allows a fine adjustment in the toe area for increased precision in technical terrain. A OrthoLite padded footbed keeps the foot cool and dry by transporting moisture away from it.
