About Rosewood Wharncliffe Wood Carving Pocket Knife, By
Produced for the Wood Carver, but carried my many others, this slim Rosewood One Blade knife will slide easily in your pocket. The knife contains a carbon steel wharncliffe blade which will need honing prior to use, hardened to Rc 56-58. The scale sides are genuine Rosewood, with Bolsters of Nickel Silver. The smooth curve of the handle fits comfortably in your hand, and the knife is well balanced. There is an extra 1/2" of steel in the end opposite the blade. This serves to counter act the blade weight when the knife is opened for use. A knife that is as well suited for the Woodcarver as it is for a Sunday afternoon in the woods.
