Roamwild Chicken feeder is automatically rat proof, there are no settings to adjust. Stop rats, mice & large birds stealing your precious chicken food. Ideal for feeding a flock of 4 to 6 per feeder. Designed to feed layers pellets and any corn seed mix. Unique design - Unlike other vermin proof chicken feeders, the clever design of the Roamwild Chicken feeder actually denies rats and large birds easy access onto the feeder. If a rat grabs hold of the hatch, under their weight the hatch moves downwards blocking off access to the food. Once the rodent has alighted from the hatch, the hatch automatically returns to its open position awaiting for the next chicken to feed, or to stop the next! Each of the 2 feeding ports are individually spring loaded. NOT SUITABLE FOR FEEDING MASH - ONLY LAYERS PELLETS, MIXED CORN AND DRIED MEALWORMS) It has been designed by a designer who came from dyson and has been tested thoroughly so it works! The design is easy to fill and comes apart quickly to allow easy and regular cleaning. Above each feed port is a weather protection guard feature that prevents rain entering the seed ports.
