About the Author Scott D. Miller is an assistant clinical professor at Texas Tech.University, and a college instructor of mahjong. He also happens to bethe acclaimed author of Mahjong from A to Zhú, the editor-in-chief ofMahjong News, and the author of Tiles of the Unexpected, a columnpublished in the international periodical The Mahjong Collector. He'scompeted internationally in mahjong championships and pickup games inplaces near and far, from Austria to Nepal, and many countries inbetween.Dr. Miller has shared his books and knowledge withpeople of all walks of life from children to heads of state.
