You may know that we designed and created the 6 inch diameter slotted orchid pot. That 6 inch orchid pot was so well received by our fine customers that we have now created a family of 48 orchid planters, including the 3 inch, 4 inch and 5 inch to join that 6 inch diameter one. These pots are each terrific for Orchids, African Violets and all plants that need great drainage and airflow to their root systems. Innovation and beauty are in each and every pot! Each remarkable orchid pot comes with side and bottom slots to increase drainage and aeration around roots. Each pot has 10 slots in the sides, 18 more slots at the base and another 18 slots which rise up to form the elevated interior core. Designed by rePotme to maximize air flow and drainage, these terrific orchid pots are as effective as they are beautiful. We call them "Super Slot Pots" because they have more drainage capacity than any single pot we carry. They come with a substantial reinforced outer rim at the top and are made with UV protection built in for increased durability when exposed to the sun. We made these pots in beautiful colors just like our Carousel pots, and with even more color choices. In fact, these can also be used as liners for Carousel pots when using finer particle potting mixes. These are wonderful pots for maximum drainage and airflow. The perfect pot for all orchid types (and African Violets too) with no worries about excessive mix leaking out of side slots because the slots are just the right size to contain potting material. Put two together (nested) and you can even adjust the side slot size from normal opening to zero opening. With 46 slots around and beneath the pot, you can be sure your orchid will enjoy uniform moisture levels throughout the potting mix. These orchid pots have more drainage capacity at the base than any other single orchid pot we carry. That's important to help prevent trouble caused by too much moisture at the root zone.
