About Red Rock Outdoor Gear U.45 Mavrik Backpack, Black
Our U.45 is the largest of our new line of Maverick System Packs. This pack features a U-style zipper that allows the main compartment to be opened completely. In contrast to common clam shell style packs, the U-style zipper allows the side panels of the bag to fold out entirely along with the main compartment. The main compartment of the U.45 is lined with soft Velcro and molle webbing for attaching gear pouches and accessories. The "Maverick System," as we call it, allows the user to integrate Maverick accessories (located on pages 23 - 25), and other gear featuring molle webbing or Velcro fastener; the result is a highly customizable pack. Our internal Maverick System reduces the need for external accessories, which minimizes the overall size and offers more efficient weight distribution. We've combined 420 Denier Dynatec nylon and 840 Denier Ballistic nylon to create a resilient exterior. The walls of all Maverick packs have padding between the nylon and the lining to protect contents. Our choice of nylons, YKK zippers, and Duraflex buckles makes this pack lightweight, yet nearly indestructible. The Maverick U.45 is the most versatile and unique pack we've ever built.
