These incredibly light shoes are constructed from a high quality, two toned graphic print in Black / Red and Black / White leather outer layers and a plush Nomex Fire Retardant inner liner. These are not a fake leather but the real thing, which you can smell when you open their nice caring case and break in nicely. These shoes have surpassed the SFI 3.3/5 Rating. These shoes are designed for maximum pedal clearance with their streamline design, which includes a fine friction ridge detail for tactile hold and grip of the vehicles pedals. The molded soles are made of long lasting pliable rubber for increased longevity, vibration resistance and a cool tire tread pattern. The Racerdirect.net shoes are molded for supreme arch and ankle support for assisting in driver fatigue and duress with both lower laces and an Upper Velcro strap. There is also additional friction ridge detail patchs on the outside of the shoes for an extra layer of comfort and hold. These shoes took 24 months to develop from a host of driver's inputs from an array of sanctioning bodies and venues. Most racing driving shoes in this quality would cost well over a $100.00.
