Quantum’s Accurist S3 PT offers anglers power, control, and precision with Performance Tuned features. This baitcast reel is equipped with Quantum’s revolutionary Flippin’ Switch, activated by using the thumbar to make a short cast and re-engaging the reel without turning the handle. This feature specifically benefits walleye fishermen when used for back-trolling so line can be cast and the reel re-engaged without taking your hand off the motor. The Accurist S3 PT also features 8+1 highs speed bearings to support a 7.0:1 gear ratio that retrieves 29-inches of line per turn. The Micro-Adjust Adjustable Centrifugal System allows you to dial the amount of braking force needed without removing the side cover; the multi drag disk design provides stopping power and consistent smoothness with a max drag of 18-pounds. The Accurist S3 PT’s ZeroFriction design ensures that the pinion gear is held in place with 2 ball bearings so there is no contact with the spool shaft during casting, eliminating friction completely. This reel is also equipped with a continuous anti-reverse clutch, Hot Sauce lubricants, and a one-piece aluminum frame. Saltguard protection coatings create a sealed barrier against ocean water. Use the bayonet slide cover to easily access the spool and perform maintenance on your reel. Available in right-hand retrieve.
