Big Ball of Bronze Wool We also use a big ole ball of bronze wool that fills the cavity completely. And our bronze wool is courser than others. It still cleans just as well (if not better) but it doesn't need to be changed as often because more solder residue falls to the bottom where it can easily be dumped out.
