When auto power off, press TEST button for two seconds to turn on again.(2) Press SELECT button to select WOOD STUD, AC LIVE WIRE, or METAL detect function.(3) Put detector bottom against the wall surface, with firm contact. The function symbol doesn't flash at this time, touch tech measure button on the right, sampling on the surface to be tested, after the sampling, the function symbol flashed, when detectoe continuously beeps twice, the unit is now calibrated.(4) Release TEST button, move the unit slowly along the wall.(5) When Center Bar is shown on LCD, you have found the edge of stud. Stop moving, mark this spot at Edge groove. Don't forget to hold TEST button all the time.(6) Continue moving till center bar disappear(keep holding TEST button); Turn around the unit in reverse direction to locate other dege of stud.
