Peter H. Brown - Original Contemporary Graphite Drawing. Inscribed. Unsigned. Some foxing as shown in photos. Peter H Brown was an architect in the midlands. He never tried to sell his paintings, and rarely submitted them for exhibition. Later in life he moved to Cornwall and died in 2013. He was evidently a talented amateur, painting wonderfully fresh and fluid watercolour landscapes. Specialising in views of the Scilly Isles, he expertly captures the special light and colouring, and peaceful seclusion, of this far south-western corner of the British Isles.
