Why did we reformulate? Our previous formula had a beautiful texture and performed great, but there were consistent issues with the odor/scent overtime. Some batches had a pungent sour smell and often turned darker in color. While the product was still 100% safe to use, our customers did not feel safe or comfortable using the lotion with such characteristics. One main contributor to the scent issues was the organic aloe. We replaced this with conventional aloe. This is not the same as a store bought aloe vera gel. It’s simply not USDA certified organic. Aloe vera is resistant to most pests due to its thick outer layer. This means there’s rarely a need to spray pesticides on the plant. After evaluating the feedback from our customers and that of competitors, we realized we had an opportunity to make our lotion better, aside from fixing the scent issues. Some key components we aimed to address are: Amount of time it takes to absorb Lightweight and non-greasy on the skin Heals and protects skin Retains moisture and boosts hyaluronic acid The new formula has virtually no scent, glides on and absorbs like a dream, and leaves your skin hydrated without ever feeling greasy. With continued use, your skin will feel more supple and noticeably softer. The ingredients are gentle, yet effective, and safe for most skin types. It can be used on both face and body without causing irritation or breakouts.
