Mobile ground plane radial kit for CB radio antenna. 6 elements... How it works: On a base loaded CB antenna like a Wilson 1000, it works as a ground plane or counterpoise to help radiate the signal - can use one above my coil on a center loaded HAM radio HF bug catcher antenna because it allows you to basically add the radials to the length of my antenna. It does this by lowering the angle of radiation for greater range and many people prefer this to what we call a capacity hat - the added horizontal radials allow the ability to run a shorter whip at the top. For use with a standard 3/8" x 24 threaded antenna.
