I like to use castile soap because it's so gentle, but it is a bit spendy so I love these dispensers because they prevent waste. 2.These word great! I make my own hand soap using a combination of distilled water, castille soap, jojoba oil, and essential oils. The pump works great and does not get stuck in the "down" position. The first few times you push the top down, it makes a horrendous squeaky sound that will really freak out your dog if you have one. Do not fear!
