The AFTR DC (dorsal closure) provides compression and stabilization after traumatic ankle injuries or surgeries on the foot or ankle. The brace is made from a stretchy, thin material that provides gentle, adjustable compression to reduce swelling, decrease pain, and speed recovery. Silicone gel pads are placed behind the ankle bones to push fluid out of concave areas that normally hold swelling. The adjustable wrap-around design allows you to maintain a consistent level of compression as swelling decreases. Bio Skin is hypo-allergenic, neoprene-free, and breathable with a soft, fleece-like material against the skin. When to Use: Ankle Sprains, Tendon Damage, Post-surgery, Edema.
