About the Author Steve Cartin has a 30 year background working with the dental community in select private practices from Carolina to California and in the UK & Ireland. He began his consulting career working with Dental Systems, Inc. of Baytown, TX. Along the way, Steve served as General Manager and Chairman of the Board of Dental Systems from 2004-2006 and continues consulting with the company today. He was Director of UK Operations for Jameson Management, Inc. (Dr. Cathy Jameson) and has twice worked as a Practice Administrator in busy general/restorative practices. Steve founded Cartin Coaching & Management in 2008. He is a certified Practice Evaluator and also holds coaching certifications for Business, Communications and Leadership Development. Steve has presented at local, regional and national events at home and abroad. He invests his common sense know-how of dentistry through speaking, consulting, coaching, and training doctors and team members to perform at their highest levels. Steve’s writing has appeared in Private Dentistry, The Probe and in PennWell Publication’s online resource, Dentistry IQ.
