He revitalized advertising poster design and successfully manipulated its psychological impact. SS Normandie is a vintage print poster by A.M. Cassandre. In 1942 during World War II, while being converted to a troopship, Normandie caught fire, capsized, and sank at the New York Passenger Ship Terminal.
