Porter Cable PCXMVC charges NiCd Batteries and Lithium-Ion Batteries. Charger has computerized charging that optimizes charging of battery cells to extend performance and life. "Hot Pack" delay detects when batteries are excessively hot to prevent damage. "Bad Pack" indicator notifies user if battery is defective and needs to be replaced. Will charge Porter Cable batteries in under one hour. May not be in retail packaging.
