About PNW Components Rainier IR Dropper Post, 3-Year

Dropper posts have been proving themselves in the mountain biking world for several years now, but we're tired of hearing about mountain bikers having all of the fun. Gravel riding and cyclocross require a massive amount of versatility in bike handling, so it's about time we have a little bit of versatility from our seatposts to match it. We are pleased to announce the PNW 27. 2 Drop Bar Dropper Post with internal routing, perfect for your gravel bike or cyclocross ride. No longer will you be stuck in the saddle for long rough descents, or awkwardly trying to move behind your seat without getting caught on it, you'll be ready to take over the wild beyond with your new dropper post with a drop bar specific remote. This 400mm seatpost delivers 105mm of infinitely adjustable travel, so you've got the ability to lock your seat into place perfectly matching the height to your trail's current demands. It is equipped with "spin-stop" technology to keep your saddle from having any side to side play, or ending up completely crooked after a crash. PNW achieves this with brass keys fitted to the stanchion that slide into a slotted lower, enabling adjustability top to bottom, but little to no left to right movement, insuring a secure and reliable ride. Whether you've just toyed with the idea of throwing a dropper on your CX bike for getting out of the saddle, or dreamed of the comfort one could provide when you're miles deep descending on a gravel road, the Rainier drop bar dropper post is worth a shot. The remote is designed for 31. 8mm bars, and tucks nicely next to your stem, both out of the way and easy to access. It has a slim profile, but ups the surface-area for your thumb, so that it's comfortable to ride with your hand resting on the remote when you're not on the drops. A comfortable fit on the lever is critical for taking advantage of the versatility a dropper post provides. The ease of use correlates to the lever becoming second nature for you to actuate, resu...
