The Platinum Tools 10007C Cable Jacket Slitter is used for quick and precise removal of insulation from round cables without nicking conductors. The unique lever and blade design allows ringing, longitudinal, and spiral slitting of cable jackets. The cable holding bracket has an integrated sharpened edge for removing insulation. It also features adjustable blade cutting depth, and includes a spare blade in the handle. Platinum Tools, founded in 1997, was created based upon two very simple objectives.
