LAVANDIN ESSENTIAL OIL: Originating from France, Plant Therapy's Lavandin Essential Oil is steam distilled from the flowering tops of the Lavandin (Lavandula x intermedia) plant to produce an essential oil that has absolutely no additives or fillers. This incredible oil is known for its sweet, floral, herbaceous aroma and incredible therapeutic properties. AN ESSENTIAL OIL MUST-HAVE: Lavandin belongs in the Lavender family, but is not a true Lavender it is a hybrid. It is a cross between Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) which grows at higher altitudes and Spike Lavender (Lavandula latifolia) which grows lower on the hillsides. This wonderful oil is excellent to help with skin issues, such as scarring, stretch marks, reddened skin, and other skin issues. SUPPORT HEALTHY RESPIRATION: Lavandin is another excellent choice for supporting respiratory health. Help keep those seasonal threats away and breathe easier when seasonal illnesses attack. Use it during massage therapy for a relaxing massage that stimulates circulation. This versatile oil is a must-have in your oil collection. EASY TO USE: In a large bowl of hot water, not boiling, add 12 drops of Lavandin and 6 drops of Pine Scots. Drape a towel over your head and lean over the bowl; breathe in deeply and relax to help support the respiratory system. Dilute using a 1-3% ratio with your favorite Plant Therapy carrier oil and apply topically to the skin to help reduce the appearance of scarring, stretch marks, and other skin issues.
