Pizzelle are traditional Italian waffle cookies made from flour, eggs, sugar, butter or vegetable oil, and flavoring. Pizzelle can be hard and crisp or soft and chewy depending on the ingredients and method of preparation. Serving Ideas: Crumble and use as a crunchy topping over ice cream, cereal, pudding yogurt or cake. Top with jelly, hazelnut spread, whipped cream. Dip in your favorite beverage. Dust with powdered sugar. Use with chocolate fondue. Microwave each cookie for 20 seconds and immediately shae into a cannoli tube or taco shell. Use Caution - cookies will be hot! Fill with favorite filling such as whipped cream, fruit, pudding, cannoli cream etc.
