In addition, the tight-fitting lid can be used as a side griddle, it works to seal in heat & moisture, features a flat surface for stacking extra ovens, & has a rim around the edge to prevent stacked coals from falling in your food when lifting. The Pit Boss cast iron Dutch Oven is pre-seasoned & ready to use right out of the box. The kettle holds 4 quart, has a 10” diameter, Can easily accommodate recipes for 10, & has built-in side handles to take the Dutch oven from the fire to the table with ease.
