For best results, the product should be mixed with ready-to-feed liquid Esbilac or reconstituted powder Esbilac to give the consistency necessary to get good food consumption. If Esbilac is not available, water may be used. Fresh, clean water should always be available for drinking. It is recommended that Esbilac 2nd Step be fed until puppies are 7 or 8 weeks old when they can be fed commercial puppy or dog food as desired.
