This Parker 6-4 B2HF-B barbed tube connector is made of brass and has a 3/8" barbed connection on one end and a 1/4" male NPT threaded connection on the other to connect a tube or a hose to a female NPT threaded connection. This adapter (also called a connector) is made of brass for corrosion resistance, ductility at high temperatures, and low magnetic permeability. The barbed connection creates a tight seal on a tube or hose, and the male National Pipe Taper (NPT) threaded end connects with a female NPT threaded connection. The integral 9/16" hex nut provides a gripping surface for a wrench when tightening the fitting. This barbed tube connector is suitable for use in process, power, environmental, and instrumentation systems in high pressure, vacuum, and vibration applications.
