The Parker brass 45-degree street elbow is a pipe fitting with male National Pipe Taper (NPT) threads on one end and female NPT threads on the other for connecting different types of pipes and fittings. The 45-degree elbow changes flow direction between pipes and connects with NPT threads to create tighter seals than straight threads. It is made from brass, which is more economical, and offers greater corrosion resistance, than steel.This fitting meets standards ANSI B31.1 and B1.20.1 for quality assurance.
