About Panduit BSV10X-Q Butt Splice, Vinyl Insulated, 12
This Panduit BSV10X-Q vinyl-insulated butt splice connector is suitable for repairing or extending solid or stranded copper wires from #12 to #10 AWG (2.5 to 6 sq. mm). It has a tin-plated copper body with a vinyl housing for electrical and thermal insulation, a maximum voltage rating of 600V, and a maximum temperature rating of 221 degrees F (105 degrees C). This connector has a brazed seam for protecting the barrel from splitting during the crimping process, an internal wire stop for ensuring the proper insertion depth of stripped conductors, and has a barrel color coded in yellow to match Panduit color-coded dies. It is Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) compliant for hazardous substance regulations and is Underwriters Laboratories (UL) Listed and Canadian Standards Association (CSA) certified for quality assurance. This vinyl-insulated butt splice connector is suitable for use with solid and stranded copper wires from American Wire Gauge (AWG) #12 to #10 (2.5 to 6 sq. mm) in a wide range of industrial, automotive, and other electrical applications.
