This 2.4 GHz GigaRange Extreme SST cordless phone with digital answering system includes a base unit as well as both corded and cordless handsets. The cordless handset comes with a wall-mountable charging cradle that can be used in a room without a phone jack. Up to 50 names and telephone numbers can be stored alphabetically and quickly accessed for dialing using the phone's navigation key. If you subscribe to call waiting and caller ID, the phone's LCD displays the name and number of incoming callers, even if you're on another call. Up to 50 names and numbers can be stored in memory for easy retrieval and direct callback. A call counter tracks the duration of your conversations. The digital answering machine offers 15 minutes of storage time. Ordinary dual 2.4 GHz cordless phones transmit and receive signals at the same time within the 2.4 GHz band, causing noticeable interference when the signals cancel each other.
