Queen of Heaven is a title given to the Virgin Mary by the Catholic Church and Many Christian denominations such as Eastern Orthodox and Anglican. The title was given on the First Council of Ephesus in the 5th century. The Blessed Virgin was pronounced Theotokos, which is Latin for the Mother of God.
