OTC's 6191 is a 3/8" square drive, TP50 Torx PLUS bit socket. The Torx PLUS design features lobes that are more square to allow for higher torque and minimize wear. Torx PLUS was developed in 1990 as a refinement of the basic Torx design and intended to improve strength and performance, especially in automated assembly situations. Made with two piece construction S2 grade steel - one of the highest quality tool grade steels used in production - this bit socket is designed for endurance. A natural finish ensures that this socket won’t crack or peel like many chrome plated versions can.
