ABOUT YOUR NEW ORGANIC BROCCOLI SEEDS The Seedz Waltham 29 Broccoli Seeds are sturdy 20” plants with large 5” heads followed by an abundance of side shoots with long stalks. Generally grown as a transplant, the Seedz Waltham 29 Broccoli can be directly sown in the summer for fall crops. WHEN TO PLANT For best results, start transplants 4-6 weeks before planting date and plant outside after threat of frost has passed. GROW PATTERNS AND TIMING Sow 3 seeds per foot with about 18” between rows. Waltham 29 Broccoli can be expected to germinate within 5-10 days. Plan 80-85 days to full maturity. After center dome has been cut, smaller side shoots can be harvested for extended production. HOW TO USE YOUR HEIRLOOM BROCCOLI SEEDS Once fully grown and harvested, broccoli is delicious raw or cooked.
