The new Opteka High Definition II Digital Duplicator attaches onto the filter thread of your existing lens. This means it can be connected to virtually any camera. The built-in high definition II close-up optics allow you to transfer slides onto digital cameras easily and with no loss in quality - it will actually enhance your pictures. The opal diffuser at the end of the Digital Duplicator helps to provide even illumination. A good light source is required. Try different sources until desired results are achieved. (**NEVER** use the sun as your light source - which would damage your eyes and camera) Filter effects can be added by placing suitable filters between the camera and the duplicator. Shooting in RAW helps, you decide white balance later at the computer, with many possibilities which you can view and judge by eye. Some slides may require you to change from autofocus to manual. A tripod is recommended to reduce camera shake. When copying with an SLR camera, use an 80mm ~120mm zoom lens and set the diaphragm at F11 or smaller for sharper pictures.
