About One Support Pillow. Buckwheat Hulls With Lavender
This decorative, unique and functional, fully filled and firm pillow with a 16 inch zippered cover and zippered insert (so you may adjust the fill) is made with a hand-painted Indonesian cotton Batik and filled with buckwheat hulls and lavender buds. Turtles on a sea of navy blues and black with subtle hints of purple. Our hand-made high quality support pillows may vary slightly in size. Unlike other pillow fillings, buckwheat hulls do not compress under pressure. These one-of-a-kind Batiks are produced on the island of Java in Indonesia by skilled dye masters. Each yard of these sumptuous fabrics is unique. The fabric is hand-stamped and then hand-painted multiple times, with many different pairs of hands working on every yard. Most of the work is done outside, so the weather greatly influences the results. Due to this specialized hand-process, there is a consistency to color and pattern, while maintaining subtle color variations that are so important to this traditional technique. Spinal and lumbar support. Some of the main features of this small but effective pillow are that it’s great to hug on your belly for comfort, not too heavy. A wonderful little neck stretcher while you’re lying down and a wonderful addition to your regular pillow if you are a side or belly sleeper. As well as it’s main purpose of neck pillow or lumbar support. Inserts have a zipper so you may adjust the fill to suit your needs. Please remember these pillows have a zipper at the top end of the insert so you may remove filling to suit your needs. Unlike a regular pillow, please remember this one has lavender buds and buckwheat hulls. Some people may not like this type of pillow in which case just return it no questions asked.
