Each figural glass ornament is hand crafted in age-old tradition using the same techniques that originated in the 1800's. Molten glass is mouth-blown into finely carved molds available only to the Merk Family's Old World Christmas, before a hot solution of liquid silver is poured inside. In 1896, Buffalo Soldiers road modified bikes 1,900 miles from Fort Missoula, MT to St. Louis, MO. Modern mountain biking originated in Marin County, where enthusiasts modified cruiser bikes to ride on Mount Tamalpais. Make sure to wear your helmet and gloves before you hit the trails!
