About Ohaus Primer Elementary Balance, 2000g Capacity, 1g
The Ohaus Primer elementary balance is a mechanical beam balance with a capacity of 2000 g and an accuracy of 1 g (also called readability) that measures in grams and has a manual tare adjustment across the entire weighing range. Made of ABS plastic, this balance is durable enough to be used in primary and intermediate classroom settings. The two plastic weighing buckets, which are marked to enable measurements to 500 mL, can hold liquid or solid samples, and are easy to remove for pouring samples, cleaning, and storing. There are dual pointers on either side of the balance base that enable students to view readings from both sides of it. This balance includes a guide with 16 educational activities to help teachers demonstrate measuring concepts using common liquids and solids.
