The compact and portable OEMTOOLS 5,300 CFM Evaporative Cooler out-performs even much larger coolers. It is energy-efficient, quiet, and provides best in class cooling, and coverage, throwing cool air farther than other coolers its size. Evaporative coolers work by pulling hot surrounding air through wet media panels, where the air is cooled through the process of evaporation. The powerful 1/3 HP fan of this unit then pushes the cooled air at 5,300 CFM into the surrounding area—cooling spaces up to 1,600 square feet. The 3 XeL50 media panels our evap cooler uses (instead of the single panel found on most mobile coolers) provide more air-intake area and reduce pre-rotation of the air to the propeller, which translates into lower static pressure and more efficient air delivery to the propeller. These 3 high-density media panels also provide 80% more evaporation surface than regular density media, ensuring higher evaporation efficiency and longer life--plus maximum cooling for up to 1,600 square feet. Evaporative coolers are not air conditioners, thus they use much less energy, saving you enormously in electricity costs—plus they work fantastically in uninsulated spaces, and even in workspaces with open garage bay doors.
