Oboz Sawtooth Low B-DRY The versatile Sawtooth Mid is just as comfortable thru-hiking the AT as it is exploring your local trails. The outsole shape promotes a natural rolling motion when the going is smooth and has toothy high friction side lugs for when the trail turns nasty. The upper is both waterproof and breathable with a 3D moulded heel counter for superb heel fit. Upper - Durable, waterproof protection Offering durable, environmental protection the upper of the Oboz Sawtooth Low B-DRY is crafted utilising a waterproof nubuck leather construction. This grants the boot a solid construction, that actively repels water thanks to a special treatment. The result prevents water from absorbing into the internal fibres of the leather and becoming over saturated, keeping your feet dry and comfortable should you find yourself in adverse conditions. Working in concert with the waterproof leather design the Sawtooth also features Oboz B-DRY creating a complete watertight seal. The technology operates around three points of design: The Crux This is Oboz proprietary tape-sealed polyurethane film bootie, which waterproofs shoes but still lets sweat escape. Hydrophobic Upper Materials All of Oboz B-DRY shoes come with hydrophobic upper materials, meaning the rest of the shoe won't absorb water. Textile Lining The textile lining inside B-DRY boots wicks sweat away, so feet stay dry from the inside out. For protection and added stability the upper integrates moulded heel and toe protection. The high rise curve of the toe cap offers great protection from rocks and other bumps and scuffs centred around the high wear area of the shoe. At the heel the moulded nature of the counter infuses added durability against collapse, maintaining a snug, comfortable heel hold through the miles.
