About Nylon Dog Muzzle Set - Prevents Barking, Chewing

Prevent your dog from jumping, biting and chewing with the strong, easy to use Meric Dog Muzzle. Constructed using durable, high-quality black nylon material with an extra soft interior padding, the mouth guard is flexible and comfortable. The muzzle also has a D-ring positioned so that you can easily lead your dog by his head giving you better control of any pulling or lunging. The package of 2 includes size large and size extra large muzzle loops, both with fully adjustable neck straps and snout circumference. The Large sized neck strap adjusts from 6.3" to 11" (16-28cm) and the snout ranges from 7" to 11.8" (18-30cm), perfect for Golden and Labrador Retrievers, Collies, Doberman and Boxers. The Extra Large size muzzle loop works better for Mastiffs, German Shepherds, Rottweilers, Great Danes and Newfoundlands with a neck strap of 8" to 11.8" (20-30cm) and snout circumference of 9" to 13.4" (23-34cm). For ultimate comfort and control, make sure to choose the correct muzzle loop size for your dog. The breed list is a good general guide; however taking your dog's measurements with a tape measure is the ideal option. Once you have chosen the appropriate size, put the mouth guard over your dog's nose and place your forefinger under the muzzle loop to ensure it is loose enough to pant, yawn and move his tongue freely. It is better to be a little too loose than too tight. After putting on the muzzle loop, bring the neck strap behind your dog's head and snap the buckles together. Gently pull the end of the strap to secure the muzzle. Provide positive reinforcement and help your pet adjust to the new muzzle by offering treats through the loop while fastening the muzzle. Never use the muzzle as punishment or leave your dog unattended for long periods of time while he or she is wearing the muzzle.
