About No-Till OverWinter Cover Crop Ten-Seed Mix
This Non-GMO No-Till Seed Mix contains 10 different varieties of OverWinter-hardy cover crops commonly used in the community including (in order of greatest to least): Austrian Winter Peas Winter Wheat Triticale Forage Collards Hairy Vetch Daikon Radish Fenugreek Crimson Clover Berseem Clover Yellow Mustard The biodiversity and seed ratios used in this specific mix provides bio-mass quickly, suppressing weeds and providing armor AND food for your soil all while attracting beneficial organisms & predators, ultimately building and improving soil fertility and humus quality. This all also helps with erosion control and encourages mycorrhizal fungi populations. The nitro-coated seeds in the mix are inoculated with Rhizobium to encourage nitrogen fixation as the roots of the cover crops provide aeration/drainage and increase soil life activity with constant interactions between bacteria/fungi and its roots. Perfect for raised beds and container gardening, permaculture gardening, and as living mulch, green manure, forage feed, or cover crop to fixate nitrogen from the environment and restore the soil with, all while providing food for the soil life when it dies!
