About Nitek Interceptor Fiberglass Full-Faced Street
NiTEK is an acronym for "New Innovation Technology." Our name really is our mission statement. NiTEK uses optically correct shields, which are enhanced by using the innovative Pinlock shield insert. Every Interceptor is equipped with a Cool Max Liner membrane that envelopes the head form to create the most comfortable fit ever experienced. This is achieved by layering different densities of foam and rubber, which gives our helmet tha "pop on" fit and feel Cross laminated pre-preg (pre-resin-impregnated-materials) which are cut in patterns using a computer programmed cutting device. Each helmet is constructed of 31 unique pieces of pre-preg fiber glass, nylon, kevlar, or carbon fiber fabric.
