About Nitek Interceptor Fiberglass Full-Faced Street
Get ready to cruise the road with sleek styling and innovative technology in your new Nitek Interceptor hand crafted, full-faced helmet. This DOT and ECE approved street helmet is constructed of 31 unique pieces of pre-impregnated fiberglass, nylon, Kevlar or carbon fiber fabric and assembled specifically for your sustained comfort and safety on the road. Our specialized computer programmed cutting and assembly process means we control the consistency and weight of every shell, insuring that each Nitek helmet you try on is built to the exact same specifications. The Interceptor's unique oval head profile was wind tunnel tested in Germany and is designed to be one of the most durable, light-weight helmets on the market today. A first of its kind, the Interceptor includes our patent pending, flush mount, optically correct shield mechanism with a Lexan flat panel low distortion shield. This unit is mounted to a spring-loaded cam system which allows the shield to open by sliding forward and up. When the shield is closed, the springs automatically pull it flush against the shell of the helmet. To personalize your comfort and fit, we've included the Cool Max interior lining in every Nitek helmet. This system was designed to envelope your head form to create the most comfortable fit ever experienced. This was achieved by layering different densities of foam and rubber, which gives the Interceptor that "pop on" fit and feel, while decreasing "hot spots," shift, and fatigue when riding. This unique liner is both removable and washable for easy maintenance. To keep your helmet in top condition, Nitek includes a helmet care kit consisting of: Owner's manual, ear plugs, cotton buds, brush, deodorant spray, visor wipes, visor cleaning spray, Nitek decal, and the Nitek back pack style carrying bag.
