With the UM4, Li-ion, Li-ion IMR, NiMH/NiCd and LiFePO4 batteries can be charged. Nitecore UM4 charger detects the battery type, determines the battery state, the charge status of the battery and automatically sets the correct charging method. The standard charging current is 500 mA. However, this can be increased manually, depending on the battery type, up to 1A and in QC mode up to 1.5A.
