The sneaker features a high-rising heel counter with a split at the achilles that can be compared to the massive fangs of the sabre-toothed tiger. Rumor has it that the shoe's design is inspired by KD's leg tattoo of a sabre-toothed tiger. Nike has also changed it up by adding a newly designed air unit to the front of the shoe.
