About NEO G Kids Nelson Collar - Medical Grade
The Neo G Kids Nelson Collar is constructed from Polyethylene (Plastazote) and provides firm support thus being beneficial to anybody experiencing neck pain or stiffness. It has been specifically designed for the younger wearer to offer protection and cushioning around the neck following mild to moderate muscle, ligament and tendon injury. It can also be used to help with cervical posture. This collar helps enable the cervical/neck musculature to rest and recover following injury by reducing movement at the neck and helping to ensure muscles and tendons are not overstrained. It is designed to mould comfortably above the collarbones and under the chin, helping to relieve some of the gravitational pressure caused by the weight of the head on the neck. This product should not be used for long periods of time but only as an adjunct to recovery from a neck injury. Always seek medical advice prior to fitting in case assistance is required.
