Place the diverter on the valve before cooking, when cooking is done rotate the diverter to release pressure, towards a vent or in any direction that fits your unique home kitchen or recreational vehicle (RV) space. Clean with detergent, water and air dry for use next time, alternatively pop in the dishwasher since it's dishwasher safe.
