About Mundial Mundihunt 5" Boning Knife - Soft Grip In

The Mundihunt line from Mundial is exclusively made for Mad Cow Cutlery, after years of development and testing with butchers and hunters. The goal was to create a commercial quality knife that could be used by large meat processing facilities, but also had the features that hunters like. What was developed was a balance between the needs of both groups. The blades are constructed of high-carbon stainless steel for strength and long edge life. The edge is sharpened with a slightly higher bevel to give the knife a sharpness that is ready to work from the beginning. The handle is constructed of dual density, commercial grade, polymers. The polymers are injected molded onto the tang and blade of the handle to ensure strength - handles will never come off, because they are built onto the knife. The first layer is extremely dense, and tough polymers that give the handle stiffness and strength. The outer layer uses a softer, rubber like polymer that is built on top of the first layer. This gives the handle a comfortable and secure, non-slip grip. Polymers are heat and cold resistant, and were designed to withstand the abuses of commercial use. The knives are NSF certified for commercial and industrial use. Handle material also has antimicrobial agents added to reduce the growth of bacteria. A tight fit between the handle and blade, ensures that materials and bacteria don't build up under the handle. Knives are made in Brazil by Mundial, one of the largest and most respected brands for commercial knives and meat processing and food service tools. Lifetime warranty against defects.
