It is used to support the filter assembly in the plumbing line to prevent damage and support filter head assembly. From the Manufacturer The AP-MB801 Aqua Pure Mounting Bracket mounts the whole house water filter housings. It fits Aqua Pure AP800 Series Housings. Screws do not come with the bracket that are required for installation.
