Mountain Hardwear Ghost Whisperer Down Jacket The world's lightest full-featured down jacket. The extremely lightweight and compact Ghost Whisperer Down Jacket can be compressed into its own pocket for easy storage. The Ghost Whisperer Down Jacket from Mountain Hardwear has been designed with the essentials in mind: Q-Shield Down 800-fill insulation resists moisture and maintains warmth, elastic stealth elastane blinding inside cuff seals out moisture. Toggle hem adjusts easily. The Ghost Whisperer Down Jacket uses an insulation material known as Q.Shield Down. Q.Shield Down fibres are infused with a permanent water repellency helps to maintain insulating performance even in damp conditions. The down also works to resist heat-robbing moisture and retains maximum loft even when wet to keep you as warm as possible at all times. The low-profile quilt pattern used throughout the jacket creates heat-trapping down channels to give extra warmth. As the jacket is lightweight, it makes it a great piece of clothing to add layers under or over without feeling restricted and weighed down but still offers great warmth and comfort. Mountain Hardwear have incorporated Nikwax Hydrophobic Down within the jacket as it uses factory applied fluorocarbon free treatment which stops the down material from absorbing moisture whilst maintaining insulation to retain warmth and prevent distraction caused by sweat and moisture which is inevitably produced during exercise. A single interior toggle hem has been fitted in this jacket to allow for easy adjustment, giving the wearer the desired fit for a comfortable wear. Soft elastic inner cuffs have been added at the end of each sleeve which has elastic binding to seal off the cold and moisture. The jacket can be stowed and zipped away into its own pocket which makes it conveniently packable.
